Avoid unnecessary wastage and extend the life of your beeswax wraps with our unique formulation re-wax block.

Each beeswax block will allow you to re-wax 5 x 20cm or 3 x 30cm wraps - breathing a new lease of life into your tired wraps.

The mix is exactly the same as the one we use in our beeswax wraps, meaning you get the perfect combination of food-grade natural beeswax, Kentish rapeseed oil and tree resin in a handy block.

This unique blend took over a year to develop, delivering perfect malleability without unnecessary stickiness on your hands, or an overpowering scent.

Our beeswax is also renowned for its antibacterial and anti-fungal properties which slows down bacteria reproduction, meaning your food stays fresher for longer whilst being able to breathe. All without the chemicals associated with plastic film.

We recommend topping up the wax on our wraps every 4 - 6 months using our Green Bee re-wax blocks - this will give them a new lease of life. Re-waxing is achieved by grating the block onto your wrap before ironing or melting the wax in an electric oven.

Re-waxing is a really simple processes that only take 5 minutes. To help, we provide a detailed care guide with every purchase to ensure everything goes smoothly.

Tricky to use but worth persevering

I foolishly tried grating the block in advance of use and put it in a clip box. Sadly it clumped together so I’d advise you don’t do that. I actually found just heating the wrap in the oven as suggested for rewaxing redistributed the wax residue sufficiently to make the wrap reusable without adding more wax. But having said all that - I’m a massive fan of these pretty wraps!

Beeswax block

Have got to say was slightly sceptical about this but it worked a treat
Couldnt quite get to grips with grating the wax as just stuck to grater. In the end I shaved off tiny pieces with a knife and put them as evenly as I could onto the wrap.
Ironed the wrap between 2 pieces of non stick baking paper, gave it a waft (as instructed!) and hey presto it was as almost as good as new. Would say theres enough left to re wax 2 more large wraps.
Great product.

Useful to keep one of these

I bought 2 packs of the wraps and I bought one of these so that it is available and handy when I need to try it out.
